Set the distance between ruled baselines to suit notes, journaling or larger handwriting. The first rule appears one spacing interval below the available writing area. An optional dashed vertical guide sits 16 mm inside the left printable margin. A page title reserves space at the top; it is not repeated on every line. No decorative background is added.
Example
With A4 portrait, 12 mm margins and 8 mm spacing, the page provides 34 ruled writing lines without a heading. Increasing spacing reduces the number of lines. Changing orientation recalculates the count from the new paper height.
Page settings
The on-screen sheet is scaled to fit the preview panel. It is not a physical ruler. Choose the same paper size in your printer dialog, select 100% or Actual size, and disable browser headers and footers. Scaling to fit may change grid spacing and label alignment. Printer hardware may have its own unprintable area, so test one page before making copies. SVG downloads preserve the declared width and height in millimetres; an application importing the file must honor those units. Ink-saving mode lightens the guides without adding a colored page background.

Is the SVG editable?
Yes. Download the vector sheet and open it in an SVG-capable application. Check physical units if you import it elsewhere.

No. Settings and text are saved in this browser. Clear the site’s data to remove them.
