How it works
Each writing group has a top guide, a dashed midline and a baseline, followed by room before the next group. The spacing setting is the total group height. Enter a short sample to repeat on each line, or clear it for blank practice paper. Tracing uses a standard sans-serif font, not joined cursive or a specific school curriculum. Accents and font appearance depend on the viewer’s installed fonts.
Example
Try 14 mm spacing and the sample Aa Bb Cc on A4. With 12 mm margins, 19 writing groups fit. Long samples are clipped at the writing-area boundary, so inspect the preview and shorten the sample when needed.
Page settings
The on-screen sheet is scaled to fit the preview panel. It is not a physical ruler. Choose the same paper size in your printer dialog, select 100% or Actual size, and disable browser headers and footers. Scaling to fit may change grid spacing and label alignment. Printer hardware may have its own unprintable area, so test one page before making copies. SVG downloads preserve the declared width and height in millimetres; an application importing the file must honor those units. Ink-saving mode lightens the guides without adding a colored page background.
